			Junior Church
	Ministries Sunday School Worship Christ’s Teens (Youth) Bethel Family Ministry Diamond Club United Methodist Men United Methodist Women Azma’s Angels Preschool Program		The purpose of Junior Church is to equip and inspire children to grow in their faith journey, know Jesus as their Savior and Lord, to experience meaningful worship, and to prepare them as future leaders. All children Kindergarten through third grade wishing to join Junior Church are welcome. Junior Church is held in the Fellowship Hall during Sunday Worship Service at 11:00 a.m. (all children attend worship until sermon time then go to the Fellowship Hall with their leaders), except the first Sunday of each month when Holy Communion is served. Families are urged to worship together in the sanctuary on this occasion. In Junior Church the children are encouraged to bring friends and to bring their Bibles. They are given scripture verses to learn and are also encouraged to learn the Books of the Bible, The Lord’s Prayer, The Ten Commandments and The Apostles’ Creed. Each Sunday there is a lesson using scripture and on occasion there is an activity to enhance the. lesson. For those months with a fifth Sunday, the children have a special activity or special guest join them on that day.
